Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your Kiakia Marketplace account and associated personal data. It applies to the Kiakia website and the Kiakia Marketplace mobile app (Kiakia Market Place Ltd).

You can also delete your account from Account settings while signed in; this page works the same way and is kept here for reference and for App Store compliance review.

Uninstalling the app does not delete your account or data; use the button below while signed in.

What we delete

When you delete your account, we immediately remove or anonymise personal data we no longer need, including:

• Account profile (name, phone, photo, and related settings)
• Sign-in credentials: your account can no longer be logged into
• Active seller plan / subscription status

What we may keep

We may retain limited information where the law, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution requires it, such as:

• Order and payment records (including amounts, dates, and fulfilment status) for tax, audit, and legal obligations
• Buyer–seller message threads where the counterparty needs their own record, with your personal identifiers removed where possible
• Security and server logs for a limited period
• Aggregated or anonymised analytics that cannot identify you

Retention periods vary by data type. See section 11 of our Privacy Policy for more detail.

Can’t sign in?

Email support@kiakiamarketplace.com from the email address linked to your account, with subject line Account deletion request, and we’ll verify and process it manually.

If you cannot access your registered email, contact support@kiakiamarketplace.com and we will help you verify ownership.
